Statti is convinced a great wine starts in the vineyard. Since the 18th century, the Statti family has lived on the same vine-growing land and has a deep, historic understanding of the vineyards in the heart of the “Enotria Tellus”, the ancient name for Calabria, meaning land of wine. Over the last 15 years, Statti has been devoted to its 100 hectares of vineyards running along the slope of a hillside that protects it from the maritime winds. It is only through a long-established dedication to the vineyards and to their care throughout the cultivation process that Statti can create the conditions in which great Calabrian wines can be made.
