Description
Layered and perfumed, the Watriss shows ripe black plum, blue and black fruits, candied orange rind, with a hint of molasses, brown sugar and baking spices. The flavors carry through, getting darker and richer on the palate, with a hint of earthiness, violets and forest floor. The palate is supple and round, and while it can be enjoyed now, especially with decanting, it will continue to develop over the next decade.
