The Calling is a partnership between sportscaster Jim Nantz, Peter Deutsch, and winemaker James MacPhail. Together, they source fruit from the best parts of Sonoma to craft wines that are singular in expression and extremely reasonable in price.
The Cabernet is sourced from Alexander Valley, which is slightly warmer than the surrounding area and able to grow some of the finest Cabernet in California. This wine delivers the classic Cab notes of blackcurrant, baking spice, pepper, and a small amount of toast.
